The COP15 news editor has presented results of the WWViews meetings this weekend to the world.

Results from World Wide Views on Global Warming are now complete. Citizens from all over the world have expressed their views on 13 questions related to climate change and the negotiations at the UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen this December.
At the result page you can se the world result, national results, and compare results from one country or region with another. You can download a summery of the most important results along with recommendations from each country here.

We have just finished our meeting here in Copenhagen and are excited about all the results that keeps running in! Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa spoken - now we're just waiting for America. Take a look at the results!

Most of the European countries have registered their results by now among others: Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. But results from the rest of the world, are also ticking in for example: Uganda, South Africa and Mozambique.

World Wide Views on Global Warming is taken place - now!
At 23:00 GMT last night, the first WWViews meeting took off in Sydney, Australia. WWViews meetings will take place all during the global day with the last meeting rounding off in California at 01:00 GMT tonight.
You can follow the results here as they are reported throughout the day.

Today, the website World Climate Community is launched in Copenhagen at 2 am. The website is a platform for climate debate and is hosted by the City of Copenhagen. WWViews has a profile on it - and you should too!

St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Cameroon, and Bangladesh have joined WWViews in the effort to make the views of ordinary citizens heard in the COP15 negotiations in Copenhagen this December.

We are happy to announce that WWViews has now received funding so that all five continents will be represented on September 26. Unfortunately, though, we still need funds in order for all partners to fully participate.

Podcasts from the Project Launch Seminar are now available for downloading. At the seminar we did interviews with project managers from all over the world. They concerned theproject in generel and the WWViews simulation specifically.

The largest Danish national TV station DR (Danish Broadcasting Cooperation) was along with 75 project managers from all over the world present at the project launch last monday, March 23rd, at the Danish Parliament, Christiansborg.

On March 23, 70 national partners of the first global citizen consultation ever - World Wide Views on Global Warming (WWViews) - will meet for the first time. A little week from now those 70 partners will arrive in Copenhagen on the occasion of the project launch and will be discussing democracy, citizen consultation, and climate change for three days.
