Most of the project managers from the WWViews national partner institutions met in Copenhagen in March 2009, half a year prior to WWViews Day, for a training seminar.

The purpose of the seminar was to ensure a common understanding of the project, uniformity of method implementation and procedural solutions for culturally specific challenges.

The training seminar was also chance for the diverse group of project managers from all over the world to meet in person.

Besides the extensive training the program also involved an official launch of the project at the Danish Parliament Folketinget and a reception hosted by the Municipality of Copenhagen.

Partners joining WWViews later than this date came to Copenhagen for individual training sessions.
